Biography
Thu Le, an International awards winner and performer, is a Hanoi born guitarist, currently living in Bahrain.
Started learning guitar below the age of four with her father, Le Hanh, at the age of five she had her first public performance.
She passed the entrance examination of the National Conservatory of Music, Hanoi at the age of seven, making
her the youngest student ever being admitted. Her teachers were Nguyen Hai Thoai, Vu Bao Lam, Nguyen Nhu Dung, Nguyen Quoc Vuong.
In later years, she took master classes with renowned guitarists such as: Manuel Barrueco, Nikita Koshkin, Hubert Kaeppel, Pavel Steidle, Thomas Offermann, Marcin Dylla, Denis Azabagic, Judicael Perroy, Gabriel Bianco…
She also was part of many television and radio shows. Besides her solo career she performs also with orchestra, string quartet, vocalist, violin, flute…..
Currently Thu Le also performs internationally in guitar duo with Italian guitarist Lorenzo Bernardi.
Thu Le performs and gives master classes in many countries, like Italy, France, England, Austria, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Nepal, Turkey, USA, Saudi Arabia, etc.
In June 2018 she was invited as a performing artist and to teach master classes at the prestigious GFA, Guitar Foundation of America Convention in Louisville, USA.
Thu Le was also a performing artist and a jury member of the first two editions of Alma Hanoi International Guitar festival 2017 and 2018.
Since October 2017, Thu Le became an official HANNABACH artist.
